TEACHER TALE

Well...Every day I walk up and down the hall just as everyone else does. Passing the same people every day, not thinking anything about it. Also, just as everyone else does, I pass an individual who I have seen everyday since I started High School. At first, I didn't really know what to say if I were to confront him. Everyone told me he was kinda weird and smelled like smoke all the time. Well, it turns out only the second part was true. One day I decided to say "hi" to him. Walking to the bathroom I saw him in front of his doorway and I just said, "how ya doin Alvin?" He replied, "good, n you?" For a while thats all that was said. But as the hellos went on for a while, it seemed he didn't like kids too much, so I would say hey to him just about everyday. I have had a normal conversation with him a couple of times and it turns out, the so called "weird" janitor at school, is just the same as everyone else. Alvin showed me that he's just someone who walks and talks the same as the other people and kids in this school. He's shown how just a few words, even if there not put in a conversation, just a simple hi can change someone's day.
